Function Keys

The Function Keys setup option enables you to define a set of sequences that are to be performed at a clock that will then be interpreted by the system as a specific operation having taken place.

For example, you can define a sequence where an employee can change from one job to another at a particular clock, but before he can change jobs he is required to enter the number of units that he has manufactured.

Please Note: These function keys can only be used on Cape Clocks.

    Viewing the Sequence Files

To view the sets of Sequences, proceed as follows:

    1. Select the Function Keys option from the Setup Clocks drop-down menu. The Browse Sequences window will be displayed.
