The Charge Rates Option

    Manage the selected employee's charge rates.  This option is only visible if charge rates have been enabled in the CS Time Configuration module.

     

    CONTENT

    Information Displayed

    The Browse Employee Charge Rate History shows the charge rate history for the selected employee for a selected date.

    Managing Charge Rates

    Please note, if Lock Dates is an active feature any changes, insert or deletions can only be done after the lock date.

    Adding a charge rate

    To move the employee onto a new charge rate, click on the Insert button.  The Update Employee Charge Rate window will open.

    Enter or select the date when the new charge rate will come into effect in the Effective Date.

    Select the new charge rate by clicking on the button. The Lookup Charge Rate window will open which lists the pre-configured charge rates.

    Select the employee's new charge rate and click on the Select button.

    Now click on the Save button to add the change of charge rate.

    Changing a charge rate entry

    To change a charge rate entry, select the record in the employee's Charge Rate History and click on the Change button.  The Update Employee Charge Rate window will open and you are able to change the effective date and/or the charge rate.

    Removing a charge rate entry

    To delete an entry, select the record in the employee's Charge Rate History and click on the Delete button.  The employee will revert to the previous charge rate in the history.
